Jet van den Toorn set up her company Van den Toorn Taal & Tekst in 2007. She has many years experience with the English language in an international context. Van den Toorn worked as an Information & Communication Officer at the Representation of the European Commission in the Netherlands and as an Information Assistant in the Press & Information Section of the British Embassy for more than 25 years. Van den Toorn passed her exams in the summer of 2009 (BA Translation EN-NL-EN and text editing).
